GitHub Copilot Free: how much usage do you really get?

Limited chat and agent usage; 2,000 completions per month; entry-level models.

How limits work: Monthly allowance of GitHub AI Credits (1 credit = $0.01). Chat, agent mode, code review, cloud agent and CLI consume credits; code completions are unlimited on paid plans. Allowance resets monthly.
